Low Cost Holiday Apartment. Situated on whats known as the Turkish Rivierra. New fully furnished self catering property built to a high standard.

Facilities include.
Full air-conditioning. Fully fitted kitchen consisting of fridge/freezer, auto washing machine, hot water on tap, gas oven/electric hob, extractor hood, toaster, elec kettle, ironing board/iron. Modern tiled shower, shaving point. Good sized lounge area with 2 sofas and coffee table. Dining table chairs. Two patio areas with table and chairs. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and drawer units. Bedding is provided.

Accessibility
Because each apartment is situated on the ground floor there is also the benefit of access via sliding patio doors (two patios per apt) allowing entrance from the pool area if preferred.

Outside
The apartments have their own sunloungers patio chairs and tables and there are additional loungers available at the pool side. There is a barbeque available. Patio table and chairs. A good sized and well maintained (residents only) pool. The entire site is surrounded by well a stocked garden. Residents can freely chose and pick their own fresh vegetables (mainly salad) from the many types available in the garden (when in season).

Coast/Beach
Side beach is very popular, the sand is kept in excellent condition and the sea offers good swimming conditions. Many sun beds loungers are available for those with relaxation in mind or for the more energetic theres numerous beach and water sport activities inc water skiing, paragliding, speedboats, jet bikes. Restaurants and bars are numerous and well spread along the beech area which are convenient for inexpensive daytime refreshment as well as providing a great setting for an evening meal.

Golf
Golf Belek resort, only aprox 40km from Side offers excellent modern golfing facilities. A championship 18-hole golf course and 9-hole academy course is offered by the National Golf club.

Skiing
Skiing – Why not Ski and add some swimming. Located at Sakl? kent (The Hidden City), approx 50km behind Antalya offers provides the chance to ski in the morning followed by an afternoon swimming in the warm waters (warm enough for most in spring) of the Mediteranean. At 2550m the season is short December to April). There are two T-bar lifts and two ski runs. Accommodation in the resort is limited and often full at the weekends but a midweek day trip will give you approx 6hrs skiing-depending on the road conditions.

Special interest holidays
Horse Riding – Centers for the tiny and upwards are located around Side and also in the beautiful pine forest/picnic areas of Sorgun and Titreyen Gol.

Travel
The local airport is Antalya Airport which is about a 50 minute drive from Side. Transport to the apartment can be arranged in advance plus low cost car rental.
Taxis are very cheap. Alternatively just put your hand up and stop (bus staging point not necessary) one of the numerous mini buses which are around 1.5 Lira per local trip.

Distances
15 to 20 minutes walk from the beach.
50 minutes drive from Antalya airport.
Only a short walk to the local Turkish Tourist Information Office.

On the Mediterranean. Located on the Turkish Rivierra ?Side (pronounced See-Day) is one of the sunniest areas of Turkey. Situated on a peninsula and flanked by 2 stretches of golden beach.

Tthe pretty resort town of Side is a jumble of old and new, with an extensive range of tourist accommodation. Busy streets that lead down to the sea are lined with souvenir shops selling typical Turkish handicrafts like carpets, jewellery and leather goods. There are numerous bars and beautiful restaurants, especially on the waterfront and by the harbour. Turkey is renowned as having one of the finest cuisines in the world.

Late night bars and restaurants are mixed in among the ruins of the ancient city thus providing an impressive backdrop. The town has an impressive ancient Roman amphitheatre and temple ruins which are both illuminated at night. The partly restored amphitheatre is used for many events including opera and classical music evenings. Whilst being entertained the audience has the added benefit of wonderfull mountain and sea views.

Also to be seen are the remains of the Roman Baths houses.

Side has a unique and charming atmosphere and personality and can be enjoyed by all ages. The town is a warren of colorful alleyways heaped with jewellery, fashion clothes and for those in need of more cash there are ample banks and ATM facilities.

Side has a weekly (Saturday) market where people enjoy bartering for a good price.

Theres a great choice of beach activities available including volleyball, wind surfing, para-sailing, water skiing, jet bikes/scooters, banana boats.

Diving is becoming iIncreasingly more popular and is supported by professional PADI training centers.

Fishing – Beach and river fishing is available.

Manavgat Waterfalls is a must. The falls are a short local minibus ride away from the apartment. Day or night the view is really stunning. You can take lunch or dinner (great fish)right next to the water falls. You can also take a delightful boat trip up Manavgat River. A deposit of £ 100 is payable at the time of booking the apartment. Full payment to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
